quiet beach

We went to a little beach today called "Quietwater" - and it is true to its name. Very small waves - and the girls LOVED it! They were out in the water the whole time..."surfing", on rafts, and K loved to swim and look at the fish below her. She was SO excited! Mema can hardly believe how great the girls are in the water now. They are turning into little fish!
We headed over to a sports bar across the street for burgers tonight and while there realized that the whole island is having power surges (so basically every 8 minutes the power goes out and then back on). Nice - made for a hot dining experience (no AC). We walked next door to play putt-putt after dinner and since they were having the power surges and it was getting dark, they were closing in 20 min. But they let the girls play a quick round for free - so they were thrilled. Cute - Jeff was all into showing them the correct way to putt. And K got pretty good - towards the end she was getting them in a lot better than I could (of course, that's not saying much!).
D keeps reminding us that she's three...every time she sees anything in threes, she says, "Look! Three...like me!" And she definitely like using the "I get to cause it's my birthday" excuse when she wants to do something. Of course, since we are with grandparents - it pretty much works every time!
